Government Order N. 273/2004 of 28 April 2004 on unilateral abolition of visa requirements for citizens of the Principality of Andorra, , the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Republic of Bolivia, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Guatemala, Japan, the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of Nicaragua, New Zealand, the Republic of Paraguay, the Republic of El Salvador, the Republic of San Marino, the Holy See, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Hong Kong SAR. Macao SAR and for holders of UN „Laissez-Passer“.

* Since the Czech Republic´s entry in the European Union and the European Economic Area, citizens of the Czech Republic have "the right to move and reside freely within the territory of the Member States" (Article 18 of the Treaty establishing the European Community). Czech citizens may enter and reside in EU countries without any special limitations, on the basis of a valid travel document (citizen cards with machine readable datas, if the marked area is not detached - without the corner beeing cut off). The right to reside in any EU country can be restricted only for reasons of public order, security or public health.
